DUMBO, an acronym for “District Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass”. Basically, Brooklyn between the two bridges. (The Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge)
A piece of neighborhood easy to walk towards, with lots of small shops, nice restaurants, chocolate and breathtaking sights of downtown Manhattan.
Among the treasures of this area: a bookstore, The powerhouse arena. Count one hour to see everything so the selection of books is good. Full of gadgets / small useful and trendy gifts.Photos of exhibitions. All in a huge loft ceilings with saggy (but it is studied, of course: When one is in Brooklyn Nothing is left by chance..)
